The Chartered College of Teaching

The Chartered College of Teaching is the recognised professional body for teachers. They are focused on celebrating, supporting and connecting teachers.

“Teachers and schools are at the heart of what we do. We want to support the teaching profession to thrive in an optimal, research-informed way, providing the best possible education for children and young people.”

- Professor Dame Alison Peacock, Chief Executive of the Chartered College of Teaching

Bitesized CPD

Bitesize CPD is designed to support practitioners’ learning around a specific topic. The content is carefully sequenced to develop understanding, with additional learning activities to support practical application. These units can be used as part of individual, team or whole school CPD. Each unit aims to provide an introduction to the topic with opportunities to take learning further, as appropriate.

Themed collections bring together a range of useful articles and resources on a specific topic. These provide an opportunity for practitioners to deepen their knowledge in their chosen area and shape their own professional learning.
