Use of teaching assistants in schools
A report by CFE Research, commissioned by the Department for Education and conducted in May and June 2023, includes a survey of school leaders and teaching assistants. The findings revealed that only 50% of teaching assistants expressed satisfaction with their opportunities to progress, with secondary school assistants reporting even lower satisfaction at 40%.
